We are currently looking for a SCM Analyst 2 to join our team in Nissan Aftersales.
Job Summary:
The Aftersales Parts Supply Team is responsible for a variety of inventory control activities which support Nissan and Infiniti dealerships and Export customers with service parts availability. Specific activities include planning and placing service part orders to Nissan approved global suppliers along with expediting and follow-up of service part orders into Nissan's distribution network. This role will also involve interfacing with NNA export customers to provide order status and general part information. This role specifically works directly with global suppliers and export markets and collaborates cross-functionally with supply chain functions such as Inventory Management, PDC operations, logistics, packaging, dealer support along with APO, technical teams such as PPE and Engineering, TCS, and other functions supporting customers. Additionally, this role will act as the primary contact for receiving and processing of all export customer claims.
Job functions include but are not limited to:
o Daily collaboration with suppliers and local analysts to ensure timely shipment and follow up of open orders, obtaining ETA information for escalated situations, expediting critical parts to resolve backorder situations, etc.
o Collaborates with team leaders to identify solutions to supplier challenges and help implement process changes that will improve the overall performance of the team's ability to provide updates on time
o Monitors demand trends and analyzes requirements. Forecasts maintenance, demand management, and replenishment of orders
o Interfaces with related departments to solve purchasing, technical, accounting, and various shipping issues to ensure consistent flow of parts to NNA domestic and export customers
o Administers the supplier penalty process based on actions made by the supplier that are non-compliant to Nissan guidelines
o Administers the Export customer claim process by receiving claim requests and working with internal team to assign disposition and submit for payment
o Administers the distribution of the supplier scorecard which reflects various performance indicators by the supplier in accordance of the Nissan policy
o Administers the ordering process for specified commodities for our dealers and export customers (Batteries, Keys, Campaign related, etc.)
o Administers process that creates special orders to support internal Nissan requests for special circumstances
o Updates databases and provide reports to leadership in regards to Nissan critical backorders
o Work with North American suppliers and Nissan affiliates to resolve any open invoice payment discrepancies
o Support leadership with analysis and reporting as necessary

- Background in master scheduling, engineering change control, statistical analysis, inventory control systems, obsolescence control, and familiarity with purchasing systems
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university plus a minimum two years of directly related professional experience in supply chain/inventory control functions
Computer Skills:
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Power Point)
- Inventory Control and Forecast Planning Tools
Travel:
- Ability to travel locally and internationally up to 20%
